Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information LABCODE Time (“we”, “the site”) processes and the choices you have.
Information we do not collect
There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the tools, and the times you set or measure are not sent to our servers.
Data stored on your device
The site saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage so they are remembered next time: theme (light/dark), sound on/off, your last Pomodoro and interval settings, and your last date countdown. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
If you create a countdown share link, the event name and date are included in the link itself. Anyone you send the link to can see them.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate, for example which tools are opened and how often timers are started. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type. We do not send personal information to Google Analytics.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Advertising
The site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.
For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, personalised ads are only served through a consent message that meets Google's consent requirements.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes technical request data (such as IP address, user agent and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
The tools are suitable for classrooms, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if our practices change; the date below shows the latest revision. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
