Frequently asked questions
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
A time-management method where you work in focused blocks (traditionally 25 minutes) separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every four blocks.
Which preset should I choose?
25/5 is a good default for study and admin tasks. 50/10 and 90/20 work better for tasks that take a while to get into, such as writing or programming.
Does it keep going if my screen turns off?
Yes. The schedule is calculated from the clock, so after a locked screen it shows the correct session and remaining time, even if several sessions have passed.
